DIY Bed Frame

We sold our bedroom furniture when we moved out to Michigan. So my amazingly talented hubby has slowly been making us new furniture for our bedroom! 

So here is the bed frame he made us! It has a simple, yet sleek look and only took him a couple hours to put it all together! 

(excuse the messy room! We were living in a pretty small apt at the time and didn't have much room for all of our stuff!! haha)

He made the bed frame in the winter, so we had to wait a couple months for the weather to warm up before we could stain it. We sanded it all down, then stained it with Rustoleum's Kona wood stain. The same stain color we used on our End Table. Click here to check it out!

I'm very excited to have my mattress of of the floor!! And I love the simple look of the bed frame! Hopefully sooner rather than later we will make our headboard for the bed to complete it! :)
